  • New riding horses

    07/19/2010
Sorry every one its been a while to write an update. Currently now I will have two more riding horses. Pebbles and Lady. Pebbles is getting comfortable with the idea of being ridden and learning very well. Lady is a trooper she has carried my mom around for a bit. But not very long though since she needs to get weight put on her but she is willing.

  • 2 new horses

    06/25/2010
Well I have 2 new horses I got from Auction and they are in need of some TLC. one is a pony mare the other is a QH gelding. These two have pictures that will be uploaded shortly. They are thin and a bit wormy but we are getting them taken care of. The vet has checked them both. The farrier has come out to do their feet. They are both sweet horses.  Check out their profiles coming shortly after I write this.

  • Fences

    06/12/2010
We now have a new fence for our front pasture since Sage was so nice to point out a weakness in the fence close to the house.

  • Our new addition to the Family

    5/24/2010

I have been wishing for a German shepherd dog for a long time since now I have land and a stable home environment and now I have been given the opportunity to adopt a wonderful GSD mix and his name is Hunter. I adopted him from the Austin Dog Alliance. I had seen his brother at Petco and had to see him so I looked him up. I loved him from the moment I saw his picture and read his profile but loved him more in person as did my mom. He has already proven himself to be a good dog around all our animals  as well as the next door cows in the back of our property.  He has also gave me a reason to do what I have been wanting to do and that is a family photo album he will also have his own page just like Pebbles whenever she makes an accomplishment or when we teach her a new thing.

Sorry I haven';t been updating just got back home from deployment and having a new puppy to be with takes alot of time away from me computer. Which is why I don't feel a need to own a T.V my pets who are my family as well is the only entertainment I need.

  • I am home

    17 May 2010
I am home and glad to be back with my horses. We are fixing up the area for the stalls to be put up yay!!! The stalls will be done before this upcoming winter.  We also have a guest his name is Whiskey and he is a Red roan Appaloosa colt. He is one of our new boarders.

  • Great news

    231010CFeb10

So the barn won't possibly be put up anytime soon. But we will have stalls for atleast 2 boarders who would like to have one. I have just ordered it. It probably won't go into use until maybe in another 2 months. Since we will still need to put mats down and clear up the area where the 2 stalls will be going. It won't be much but it will be a shelter for your horses.

  • Changes

    Jan 19 2010

105 more days til I am home and am able to really get things accomplished.

As you have probably noticed the Services page looks not so cluttered.

I am trying to answer some questions I am getting about the barn, pasture paddocks all these things. Currently I have one run in shelter. So I made a Q&A section For every one who has questions.

I cannot wait to get back I will be starting back up with my veterinary and I will also be go for Equine dentistry which ever one comes first. So I may be a bit busy and unable to train or lesson hopefully by then I will have someone who I can trust. Since I am hoping to intern with a great Man who does equine dentistry I will probably be posting his information even though he is in Florida I would like to share about him. I have not heard of anybody like him here which is the reason I won't be around for a week to head down to Florida to have my horses teeth done. This is why: He never uses drugs an dnever uses that contraption that goes in a horses mouth I do not like these. My horse will have a flip out yeah sure he will be drugged but the after part isn't fun. I will be learning from him I hope when I go to Equine dentistry school and I get to intern.

I know I asked him once if he would come up to Texas he had told me if I had enough people that would want him. I have no idea if he was joking. If ever you get to meet him he is a great guy.

  • Name Change

    January 18 2010

Some Big Changes will be talking effect. Some you will see in here on the website and some will be at the ranch. The first Change is the Ranch name we still want to live by “Apenimon” Worthy of Trust. But me and my family have decided to use something different as our Ranch Name and Logo. The Site Address will stay the same for now. The Name will soon be “The Corvino Ranch”

Our care is still the same but since we as a family decided on this since it is family operated we decided to go with our name.

  • Stable/Groom

    January 6 2010
I have noticed my website didn't save this entry. As I also have a surprising amount of people interested.

I am looking for someone who doesn't know much about horses that I can teach. Reasons being I have a horse you doesn't do well with conventional training. I will have a 1-2 week trial period before I start payment to be sure.

The Job entails pretty much helping my mother with my 2 horses. They don't need training as I am the sole trainer unless or until I find someone who I can trust.

    • Grooming
    • Stall cleaning
    • Handling the horse/horses for vet/Farrier
    • Basic Horse Care
    • And some yard maintenance

There is more but this is what I would like to start with since I am very weary of who gets to be with my horses. The mustang has had some bad times in his past.  My mother is able to handle him. I cannot afford someone with alot of experience. I cannot take in someone who breaks horses. Sorry nothing against you but you have been taught a way that I don't need my horse to deal with. I am into classical training/native american training. I do not allow whips, spurs or other means. If you want to come out you are more than welcome to as long as I clear it with my mom. My mustang you will have to forgive lol. he isn't very friendly to strangers so he usually won't say hi if he does take it as a great thing.

  • Home in 4 months

    Article date

It is count down I figure to start early. I am looking for a horse to lease. I need a horse that can take a beginner through trails and lessons. My mother knows the basics. I would like to use him for atleast a week. I am trying to make a plan for me and my mom to get out and ride she has never gone on a trial ride with me and I promised her it is a great experience. She doesn't know how to canter a horse so a nice slow horse would be great.

  • Happy New Year

    Jan 1 2010

Sorry, Everyone I haven't been on as I normally am. I went home on R&R and now back. I had a great time and I will be uploading more pictures of my Early Christmas and Early Thanksgiving.

  • Upcoming in Summer

    Summer  2010

I will be looking for someone who can do lessons and training. I am looking for someone for the summer. Please understand I am into low resistance training.  I am more into looking for someone who wants to learn to do lesson and training. I need someone dedicated since lessons usually are on weekends. If someone knows of anyone into low resistance trianing AKA Natural horsemanship.. I would love to hear from anyone who is interested.

  • Barn

    Article date

We actually may have a barn up maybe before or after December. Depending on how things go. Which will be great since all the damp weather. This place is a work in progress. As I have many ideas some may not come true. A few I know will is a barn, an arena, and a place to take your horse to desensitize them. These are the things I am more working toward. Lessons and such will only happen once the arena and barn get set.

  • Looking For a pony

    090923

We have decided we need one more family member. We are looking for a pony at most 13.3hh is alright with children can get along with our 2 other horses since we do not separate. We are willing to pay Up to $400. We do not have a trailer though. Please email if you think you have the right pony. Thank you

  • Barn Update

    090914
There will not be a barn since we are still trying to find a reasonable price to keep board costs down. So for now we only have pasture board. The back is still with good grass. Since we bring our horses to the front at night and let them roam during the day.
