Not a concern at this time, but people like them so I will be seeing what I can do to erect one.

Young horses Sage has no problem with. Someone expressed concern since Sage was once stallion. He has been with numerous youngsters and does very well if anything he is the one to calm them and give them confidence. He may scold the horse but he has never hurt them. He was boarded at one place and the lady couldn't put her baby with her horses or they would attack her and one sent her to the Vet clinic for stitches. Sage became her only friend so we call him the babysitter. He has also had a very big baby Warmblood as buddy as well. He just ignores them he doesn't play much but he isn't grumpy he does play but on his own terms.

This question/concern is from my mom since I have boarded Sage with some not so nice horses since the owners don't place boundries and rules for their horses. I have been kicked or been close to attacked because the Mare was the lead mare in the herd or the geldings and the other mares.  

I don't want to tell someone no because their horse is too unruly but if you are not willing to admit this or ask for help I will have to. There are 2 sides to this though. I hate being the person that wants to train your horse if you  have ever boarded before you know what I mean. I don't mean to sound that way but what can I do. At least what I offer is not some in humane treatment or bullying if you let me work with your horse I will not call this trianing and charge as long as the owner follows through with what I ask if they do not the horse will not learn he will learn one is leader and one isn't so he can get away with more.. I just ask that you understand. My horse was the one people used to worry about as well so I did everything for him. I am willing to work with the horse and owner with the  issues. I cannot worry about someone or something getting hurt esspecially since Sage has been known to protect his household if the horse is territorial or tempermental. Sage will fight with that horse if he seems to be a threat to me or someone of the household. I have seen this occur and Sage had almost got his head knocked in because he put himself in a corner because I had gotten stuck their and his legs were kicked out from under him and the horse kept kicking him into the fence. So I ask that you tell us if the horse has behavioral issues so we can adjust accordingly. I can also turn you towards the right direction if you are looking for your own trainer.

This is true since you scare the horse into not wanting to be a partner but a robot and not able to let you know anything with out a blow up as some do or the horse just not being the partner you really wanted. I have a great friend and partner the way I trained.

People I know think that when I tell them about my horse saving me or being protective. Sage has done alot for me so I give him the utmost respect not saying that I wouldn't if he was different but his gesture of treating me as a herd member as lead mare and helping me out when I really need it. I feel honored in some way since I was a person who followed another path with horses til I was re awakened to my dream of black beauty (not the color) but more of the good people. I had told myself I wouldn't be those people. I did for a bit not listening to the horse when it was getting aggrevated I could have understood and looked for the reason but I stayed on and fought. There is no reason for this.

I do this since the problem isn't with the horse it is usually the owner since they are the ones to usually start things not the horse. I don't blame the horse for what he is doing nor do I blame the owner for not understanding.

I usually will say this when I am using the subtlest gestures even really whispering. I used this with my Shepherd when training I wanted he rto really have to hone in on me talking. I did this to get Sage to more want to listen to me then the scary noise of whips and yelling. I also mean it when Sage or any other horse uses the subtlest body language to tell me something like hey I don't like it their. I usually call if a horse bucks or throws the rider I call it yelling. It's the best way for me to help people understand what happens when you don't listen to your horse.

To me I call it yelling when a horse does something extreme since no one wanted to listen the horse may give you alot of notifications or one. You gotta pay attention since you can depending on the horse hurt your trust. Some children are like that as well I know I was and I would get loud and abnoxiouos. Sur eit was for something but a horse really doesn't want to hurt us esspecially when they really like us. Sage has had a few times where he had to yell at me but as I learned his subtle motions I knew then something wasn't right. But Sage also did something others aww he then will always do it to get you off. The opposite happened he wanted me on. 

I here this alot esspecially when I train my dogs. Yet people don't understand the time it takes. I trained my chihuahua (to a point since he is male and tendency to run.) He doesn't mind people since we treat him like a dog and we set rules for him. Sage same applies I respect Sage so he respects me I ask not tell since it is his nature to defy me until I can show I am leader. But it takes time to get the rapore I have. It doesn't happen over night. I love it when I tell the owner this is what I did.... and they don't and wonder why they haven't gotten anywhere. They are simple once you get into a habit of using them. I found there is a term in a psychic website not saying I am. It was interesting when it talked of an action a person learns from a horse. I thought it was interesting I picked up the stomping habit from a TWH Gelding when he would get impatient. I still do it sometimes but I gotta watch it since I really stomp and standing in formation and doing that would be really bad. I think the sight was more about the mind but it was interesting none the less.
