I heard this one while working in the pet store. He had a mustang that wouldn't ever retain the training. But I have heard more tell me otherwise but also I use a different type of training then some. But still heard others with the other trianing not having much trouble. Sage usually gets better when given a few days off. Heck I gave him a day off since it got hot and it was like his first week of riding and learning neck rein I swear I must have a secret trainer some where as it happens all the time actually even when I came home lol.  Except I now need a trainer to yell at me to remind me of my posture and Sage became a schooling horse for me.

For the most part yes. Or an exceptional beginner. People think about riding too much. I talked to a lady since i was curious of this that seemed hy most mustangs said experienced rider. The horse had trust issues and I found that was mostly the reason. And with bucking. The horse didn't mind being ridden but they just would be nervous until they knew you. I have heard of a lot including me inexperienced or beginner riders who got a mustang and they were a great match. I beleive it is because we the newbies take our time which some mustangs need before they can trust a person. They have been rounded up corraled and who knows how many times then forcibly haltered then trailered to their final destination to your coral.
